HOW DO WE TELL THE KIDS ABOUT SEPARATION??

Preparing You and Your Children for Two Homes

The Thought of Telling Your Children About Separation Can Feel Overwhelming.

You might be lying awake at night wondering:

  • How on earth do we tell them?
  • How do we manage their reactions?
  • What if I cry? Or one of us goes "off script"?
  • Are we going to damage our kids?
  • How do we keep things stable for them through this change?

It's Okay. You Don't Have to Figure This Out Alone.

Start with our free resources:

What to Expect:

During our consultation we will:

  • Develop strategies tailored to your family's unique dynamics
  • Create a reassuring narrative that maintains family unity
  • Build a framework for answering your children's specific questions
  • Discuss developmentally-appropriate care arrangements for your situation
  • Address any complex circumstances or special considerations

"I had the kids for the first time in my new place. Being armed with what to expect about their big feelings and the pushback and some of the questions and comments that would come, which Tifany had walked us through - I felt prepared. It was tricky to regulate that stuff for myself, but having that knowledge was huge, absolutely huge."
